Medicare-for-All is Like a House of Cards, Don't Fall for it

KUSTER AND CORTEZ MEDICARE EXPANSION COSTS ARE GOING UP
CURRENT SEVICES AT RISK WHILE KUSTER KRONYISM STRIKES AGAIN

NASHUA, NH – Today, Steve Negron takes issue with Washington Democrats like Rep. Ann Kuster who have risked current federal services to scheme with fellow progressives through the expanded Medicare-for-All plans introduced during the 116th United States Congress. Signing onto the many Medicare expansion plans, we are reminded that ideological legislation ignores common sense in Washington. If re-elected, Kuster joins with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to balloon the budget to $32.6 trillion for American families every year - in its first 10 years, which threatens our solvency as a government.

Unfortunately, New Hampshire finds itself hijacked by the voices from Kuster's Kronyism, a continued plague on our lack of independent representation in Congress. Extremists like Medicare-for-All scheme engineer US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) from New York's 14th congressional district, the infamous Bronx-born Latina Democratic Socialist who came onto the seen in a surprise election.

Regarding the relationship between AOC and Rep. Kuster and their Medicare expansion ideas, Kuster freely admits on WMUR's Close Up, "I am very progressive...we've come to know each other (Kuster/AOC), look we have a big caucus with a lot of big ideas...I think we can both learn from each other, I can help her to understand, the institution (Congress) and how to make change over time."

On the issue of expanding Medicare, Kuster reminds us, "We want to have a robust health care delivery system...expanding access...you've heard a lot of expanding Medicare as a public option on the exchange. I've signed onto a bill fifty and over to be able to buy into that...Medicaid is another option (to consider) ...we'll take up all these bills."

If the Medicare-for-All scheme passes these two progressive healthcare activists will ruin our abilities to balance our budget or even make ends meet for the services we currently provide. This absurd package would skyrocket tax increases and risk every corner of the federal budget. According to reports, AOC is pleased with the efforts by Kuster to initially just voluntarily expand Medicare, "The worst-case scenario? We compromise deeply and we end up getting a public option. Is that a nightmare? I don't think so," said AOC, "noting she still intended to fight for universal healthcare."

Campaign Manager Roger Wilkins said, “This is going to cost money we don't have, period. At a time when we are fighting against a virus and for economic stimulus, households are struggling, and taxpayer dollars are scarce. Rep. Ann Kuster continues to add to the exponential taxpayer tab with her support since taking office. This is financial malpractice and we will speak up for the New Hampshire families who cannot afford Democrat dreams which produce taxpayer nightmares.”

In a statement by Congressional Candidate Steve Negron, Mr. Negron said, “It is no secret that the cost of healthcare is out of control. We need a plan that not only provides transparency, innovation and above all doesn't threaten the current level of care every American has come to expect. Medicare-for-All is like a house of cards, don't fall for it." Negron continues, "As a husband, father and small business owner, healthy families are one of my biggest priorities when I get to Washington. I support President Trump and his stance on overturning the Affordable Care Act, and I believe with the right decision, we can make sound and prudent changes to reduce costs and provide access to affordable and efficient healthcare for all Americans.”

Steve Negron offers his complete thoughts on Medicare-for-All schemes by video, view here.
