Priorities for Building Our Future

As a husband, father, and small business owner, I know all too well the importance of strong healthy families. The cost of health care is one of my highest priorities when I get to Washington. I come at this problem as someone who has had to evaluate a myriad of options in order to provide the right healthcare for my family and employees. There are areas where we can make sound and prudent changes which will reduce costs at the same time providing access to excellent healthcare for all Americans.

"Promoting Healthy Families by reducing costs through innovation, competition, and transparency. This will be my highest priority. The goal is to mitigate the ongoing real threat to health care affordability for every family."

National Defense has been a cornerstone of this Republic since shots were first fired at Concord's North Bridge. My family has answered this call without break, since 1943. We have over 111 years of military service in my family. National defense is not a political statement, it is a way of life.

"We will continue NH's proud tradition of military service past and present.  With over 111 years of Negron family service (and growing), we know the road to a superior 21st Century military goes through valued experience and respect for our past veterans, combined with today's service  

men and women."

The economic boom since 2016 is the best our country has seen in over 30 years. There are 30.2 million small businesses in this country, which comprise a whopping 99.9% of all United States businesses. I am proud to be one of those businesses here in the Granite State. These economic policies have suffered under today's health crisis, but should not be forgotten as they are the ingredients of success from which to rebuild.

"Lowest unemployment in 50 years, hourly earnings growing by 3% over the past year; this is an economy NH can get behind. We will expand opportunity to encourage economic revival and success."

As a Grandson of a legal Mexican immigrant, I know all too well the impact illegal immigration has inflicted on our great country. However, border control is much more than immigration. It includes stemming the flow of opioids into our country as well as potential terrorists who wish to do harm to our country. Border control is a national security issue for me. A strong border will work to fix a national security issue that has cost American billions.

"From The Wall to our neighborhoods - public safety is a priority for New Hampshire. The Pelosi/Kuster agenda limits law enforcement and expands risk to public safety. These priorities are wrong for NH. We are a land of laws and must get back to protecting families once again."

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." That is what our Declaration of Independence says. The Bill of Rights is a foundational document to that declaration. Our NH Forefathers refused to ratify the Constitution unless it contained a Bill of Rights. I will stand and defend our Bill of Rights at all costs!

"We must always protect our First, Second, through the Tenth Amendments; these are our Bill of Rights which secure our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. NH refused to ratify the Constitution otherwise."

In every other endeavor we undertake, plurality wins. Baseball, hockey, basketball, football, etc. Our Founding Fathers knew better. They knew the election of our President should not be decided by a popular vote. Presidential elections are, in effect, fifty-one separate elections. The Electoral College is one of the many finely tuned institutions that have ensured stability, continuity, fair representation for Americans for nearly 250 years. I will defend the Electoral College and preserve our voice and our First In The Nation Primary status everyday I am in Congress!

"On my watch, the tyranny of large cities and states will not smother the voting rights of small rural voting precincts like New Hampshire.  This is why the Founders demanded The Electoral College."
