Kuster Needs to Prioritize Public Safety Over Politics

STEVE NEGRON: KUSTER NEEDS TO PRIORITIZE PUBLIC SAFETY OVER POLITICS

NASHUA, NH – Today, the focus of Candidate Steve Negron is the concerns for public safety and security in our neighborhoods. Since 2017, Steve Negron has been a leading voice for safety and security at the borders, across seas, and in our neighborhoods. In this dire time of need, our law enforcement personnel and first responders are not only being scrutinized but are also in jeopardy of being defunded. As reported in a recent St. Anselm Poll: A Survey of New Hampshire Voter Attitudes, 85% of New Hampshire voters stand behind the men and women of our law enforcement.

Candidate Steve Negron said, “Since day one of this campaign, we have been listening to ALL residents of New Hampshire. We fear Ann Kuster has been again dancing with the Kuster Kronies in Washington. Again, she mismatches D.C. priorities with those of the people of the Granite State she was elected to serve. Today and every day, I stand with New Hampshire families and their security, knowing their law enforcement is appreciated, funded and effective. I will do everything in my power to make sure Congress hears our voice.”

Negron continues, “My opponent, Rep. Ann McLane Kuster, again prioritizes Washington before New Hampshire. She should be ashamed of her alliance with political activists looking to defund our neighborhood security. Her opposition to H.R. 115, the ‘Thin Blue Line Act’, is another example of her attitudinal shift away from Granite State families. This legislation would have toughened federal death penalty laws regarding killing or targeting police and our other first responders. I pledge to continue the fight for stronger borders, democracy, and public safety and security in our neighborhoods.”

Retired Police Chief of Hollis, Russell Ux, echoes the need for more attention to public safety and security. “New Hampshire’s law enforcement and first responders are in dire need. The discrimination against our blue line friends is at an all-time high, and we cannot let Ann Kuster discredit those who provide safety for their people. Steve Negron will always defend our law enforcement and all who risk their lives to keep their neighborhoods safe. Join me in helping to Build Our Future with Steve. Let’s get back to work.”

Hon. Steve Negron is the 2018 NH02 Republican nominee and current candidate. Steve and his wife Theresa raised their family of three in Nashua while serving many community posts involving faith and sports. Negron continues to build jobs as a small business employer at Integron, LLC. As a veteran and defense contractor, Negron has served his nation in both public and private capacities for over 37 years.
